About Us

Rene Kelly
Rene Kelly is a NESTA Certified Boot Camp Instructor.Her love for fitness has reached many heights. She started out at the gym many years ago as an ex smoker and wanted to become healthier overall.
Soon she began to love the feel of the gym and the classes. Her love grew and took her down the road to teaching.

As a mother of three Rene understands the frustration of trying to find time in a hectic schedule to fit in a quality workout,which is also inexpensive as well as challenging. This is why she believes in the Adventure Boot Camp program. As your certified Boot Camp Instructor she will be there for you 100% for your entire workout.
Adventure Boot Camp is a unique program which runs from Monday through Friday for 4 week session. There is also the three day program which is Monday ,Wednesday, and Friday for a four week session. Adventure Boot Camp offers challenging exercises for total body fitness and is for ALL fitness levels.

Rene` is currently involved with her community recreation department and is creating an exercise program for young teenage girls. She is trying to promote the importance of health and exercise to the young women in hopes they will carry it on through their lives and incorporate more self confidence among them.

John Spencer Ellis has been a fitness educator for over 14 years. In this time, he has trained over 2,000 clients and 40,000 fitness professionals.

The combination of John's formal education, practical experience and fun approach to exercise, have made his camps very exciting and popular.

John has been involved with health and fitness since the age of twelve and has become one of the most diversely trained fitness professionals in the United States. He holds two bachelors degrees; one in business and the other in health science, an MBA, and a doctorate in education. He has more than fifteen certifications, which include being a certified massage therapist, plyometric instructor, self-defense instructor, fitness kick boxing instructor, water fitness instructor, exercise rehabilitation specialist, golf conditioning specialist, Pilates instructor, personal trainer, clinical hypnotherapist, master PACE circuit training instructor, and yoga instructor. John has a 2nd degree black belt in kung-fu, has completed the Ironman triathlon and finished 5th in the U.S. National Biathlon (run/bike) Championships. He has extensive training in mind-body fitness and alternative health. John is the author of "How Badly Do you Want It? - Your Ultimate Guide to Optimal Fitness," a contributor to "Power of Champions," and the Fitness Editor of OC Flair magazine. His fitness articles and interviews have been featured in over 30 publications, and he is a frequent consultant to the world's media on health, fitness and lifestyle topics.

His medical training includes being a licensed radiological technologist, certified medical assistant, and training in McKenzie rehabilitation exercises. He has worked in fitness centers, medical clinics, and has promoted sporting event in CA.

In addition, John is on the Advisory Board for the American Association of Personal Trainers and is a Fellow of the National Board of Fitness Examiners. He oversees operations at his facilities; Spencer Escape Fitness Resort and Spencer Wellness Center, both located in CA.

John was recently nominated for the CA Community College Distinguished Alumni Award.

Christina Knapp Personal Trainer in Orange County
Christina Lucy teaches the 9:00 a.m. boot camp in Orange County, CA. For over 14 years, Christina has taught aerobics and group fitness classes for many prestigious fitness clubs and spas throughout the country. She has undergone training in challenge course administration and safety. She is a facilitator for the rope's course at Spencer Escape in Big Bear. She is certified by NESTA as a personal trainer and holds a PACE circuit training instructor certification. Christina is also a running coach and has developed the EZ8 Women's Running Camp. She has been featured in 3 fitness videos, and soon to be in the upcoming fitness video "The OC Body".

You may also ask Christina about her circuit training class at the Spencer Wellness Center. Space is limited.
